You get to decide what you worship

You get to decide what you worship …. Because here’s something else that’s true. In the day-to-day trenches of … life, there is actually no such thing as atheism. There is no such thing as not worshipping. Everybody worships. The only choice we get is what to worship. And an outstanding reason for choosing some sort of god or spiritual-type thing to worship … is that pretty much anything else you worship will eat you alive.

  1. I disagree with this emphatically!

To worship is to hold in higher regard than self, to bow before and be subordinate to a entity or set of arbitrary rules.

I am an atheist and I do not worship anything. Not a person, not a system or thinking or set of fixed rules.

Do not take acceptance as worship. I am convinced and accept that evolution is real, but I don’t worship it.

Do you know what worship is?
